We had our BIG ultrasound appt. on June 23rd and all the measurements showed that the baby was on schedule & everything that should be in there is in there. They also confirmed that it was a BOY! To say the least, Mike left with a HUGE smile. :D We saw his heart up close and all four chambers were just a beating away. The heartbeat measured at 153beats. The nurse had a hard time with the ultrasound since he was just doing somersault after somersault. She said that he is going to be a handful if he keeps up his pre-birth activity after he's born. lol Even though he's a mover & a shaker I don't think I've actually felt a kick yet. Who knows?! There are so many different pains & twinges going on in there on a daily basis, how can I decipher which one is a kick?! Dr. Ginsberg said that since it's my first then I probably won't feel anything until the 22nd week and Mike won't feel it from the outside until 25 wks. We can't wait! :) He is directly under my belly button now though. It's weird how hard my tummy is nowadays. You can actually feel from the outside of the tummy where he is now.
